Symbian StoreDescription
WA Scheduler periodically starts and stops WhatsApp to check for new messages. You only need to set the days and hours you want sync in, then select an update frequency. By running in background you can get message notifications from WhatsApp without being always connected.

Great idea, i look fowerd to use this. CAn you guys make it to sync at a specific cause allot of times during the day i don’t need to sync, only in the morning and in the night…?
Carol, you can set the start time to e.g. 20:00 and the end time to 08:00 so it will sync only night and morning.

Not so much a comment but really a question, and probably a pretty stupid one too. Do I leave Whatsapp running in the background or not?
Roberto: the Scheduler can open and close WA fully itself, you don’t need to keep WA in background. If you do, the next closing sequence will close it anyway.
Keep the Scheduler in background and it does the job :)
Will it be ported to 5th edition devices too in the future?
Not planned yet, but I will try it and if possible update it.

hello. I’ve got delight custom firmware on my Nokia N8, can you help with which patch I need to download to get this to install correctly please? I just get a ‘file corrupted’ error message when I try to install it… :-(
Hello! I think it is not related to your device. Most likely there was some problem during download and file gone bad.
Try to download it again.
